Karmann Powell is a gifted musician whose journey began at just five old. Influenced by folk, country, gospel, and bluegrass, her sound embodies the spirit of Americana. Known for her dynamic vocals, Karmann shines as both a songwriter and a masterful interpreter of others' works.
As the lead singer, songwriter, and rhythm guitarist for the award-winning band Karmann and Kompany, she brings her passion for music to every performance. Recently honored as the West Valley Country Music Association's 2024 Female Vocalist of the Year, Karmann has had 4 original compositions make the finals in the WVCMA Songwriters Competition. Karmann is a wife, mother, grandmother, and Kindergarten teacher. She leads worship at Black Canyon Community Church in Black Canyon, AZ.
